One of the main pre-treatment steps we recommend is using a topical numbing cream. Applying the numbing cream before your session can significantly reduce the sensation during your laser treatment.

We recommend applying the cream two hours before your appointment. Use a thick layer over the area being treated and then wrap it with Press-N-Seal or plastic wrap. Please keep it wrapped and come in with it still on. Once you arrive, we will remove the cream and clean the skin directly before treatment. The numbing cream is available for purchase in-office.

Tattoo Numb Cream is a topical cream that contains 5% lidocaine. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic that helps relieve itching, burning, soreness, and general discomfort by temporarily numbing the skin. You may apply Tattoo Numb Cream to the affected area up to 6 times per day if needed. Make sure the area is washed with soap and thoroughly dried before applying. Please follow all usage instructions and do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
